CHOPPER's CAFE — Tony Tony Chopper Cafe in Shibuya

CHOPPER's CAFE was a limited-time theme cafe all about Tony Tony Chopper, the Straw Hats' doctor. It ran from December 24, 2025 to February 1, 2026 at BOX cafe&space, on the B2 floor of SHIBUYA109 in Tokyo. It opened on Chopper's birthday (December 24) and promoted CHOPPER's, a new Chopper mini anime.

This run has ended. Below is everything it offered, so you know what to expect if it comes back, plus where to find Chopper in Japan right now.

What was CHOPPER's CAFE?

CHOPPER's is a cute spin-off series announced at Jump Festa 2026. The idea is that Chopper has left the pirate world and now lives in ours. The mini anime started on January 5, 2026 on Fuji TV's morning show Mezamashi TV (7:36 am).

The cafe brought that pastel, everyday-life Chopper to Shibuya:

• Dishes shaped like Chopper, plus lots of cotton candy, his favorite food
• Pastel walls showing the many sides of Chopper, made for photos
• Cafe-only goods in the same soft illustration style
• Meet-and-greets with Chopper in person on select days

At the opening day event, Chopper got a birthday cake shaped like his hat.

Where was it?

• Venue: BOX cafe&space SHIBUYA109 Shibuya (B2 floor)
• Address: 2-29-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
• Getting there: SHIBUYA109 stands where the roads fork just past the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, a few minutes' walk from Shibuya Station (Hachiko exit).

How did reservations work?

• Bookings opened December 9, 2025 (18:00) on the official site, first come, first served.
• Booking fee: ¥660 (tax included) per booking, for up to 4 seats.
• Booking bonus: an original sticker for each guest who booked.
• Drink bonus: a random paper coaster (1 of 5 designs) with every drink.
• Order limit: up to 3 food or dessert items and 5 drinks per person.
• Meet Chopper: greeting days were December 24, January 24 and January 25, for guests with a reservation only, with up to 2 photos each.

Menu and prices (tax included)

Food

• Chopper's White Curry Rice: ¥1,790. Rice shaped like Chopper's face with his blue-and-pink hat, hamburger-steak ears and colorful vegetables. The creamy white curry comes on the side in a gravy boat, so you pour it yourself.
• Chopper's Hide-and-Seek Omelette Rice: ¥1,590. Ketchup omurice with plenty of vegetables. Little hoofprints on the plate lead to Chopper hiding behind the egg.
• Chopper's Reward Pancakes: ¥1,590. A stack topped with Chopper's favorite treats and cotton candy. At the preview, Chopper picked this as the one he was most excited about.

Dessert

• Chopper's Treasure Hunt Parfait: ¥1,390. A big ball of cotton candy on top. Pour the syrup over it and it melts away to reveal fruit and jelly "treasure" underneath.

Drinks

• Fluffy Munch Caramel Milk: ¥990. Caramel milk topped with a round puff of cotton candy.
• Chopper's Climbing Lemonade: ¥990. Comes with cotton candy to eat on its own or melt into the lemonade.
• Marshmallow Strawberry Latte: ¥1,090. Character-printed marshmallows float on top (1 of 3 random designs).
• Chopper's Warm Cocoa: ¥990. Latte art and marshmallow designs (1 of 3 random).
• Other soft drinks: ¥690

The four special drinks were also sold as takeaway.

Cafe goods (tax included)

• Acrylic keychain (random, 5 designs): ¥770
• Mini acrylic stand (random, 5 designs): ¥990

Goods were also sold on the official online shop until February 1, 2026. Now they mostly turn up second-hand.

Tips if a Chopper cafe comes back

• Book the day reservations open. Meet-and-greet days and weekend slots go first.
• Pick your "random" items with a friend. Coasters, marshmallow designs and keychains were all random, so groups can trade.
• Order the curry if you want the photo. It's the dish everyone posts, and the white sauce goes on at the table.
• Mind the order limit (3 food items each) if you want to try the whole menu. Bring friends.

Fan FAQ

Is CHOPPER's CAFE still open? No. It ended on February 1, 2026. Check our Events page for the next One Piece cafe.

Did you need a reservation? Reservations (¥660 per booking) were the way to guarantee a seat and the sticker bonus. Meeting Chopper was for reserved guests only.

How much did it cost? Food ¥1,390–¥1,790, special drinks ¥990–¥1,090, plus the ¥660 booking fee. One dish plus one special drink came to about ¥2,400–¥2,900.

Where can I see Chopper permanently? At the Chopper statue in Kumamoto, one of the ten Straw Hat statues around the prefecture.
