One Piece x NBA: Teams, Figures, Merchandise & Events

One Piece × NBA spans a ten-team character collection, several separate figure ranges, Chopper plush, clothing, stationery and fan activations. October 24 brought the first S.H.Figuarts retail releases and LUFFY’s Uniform Icon Edition to Japan, with more products scheduled into 2027.

This guide brings the verified releases together, including the earlier Lakers game night and NBA HOUSE Japan. Those events have ended; future merchandise shipment months are listed separately from events and original launch dates.

The ten NBA teams and character pairings

The official BASE SHOP acrylic-stand listing identifies these pairings in the collaboration artwork:

• Los Angeles Lakers: Monkey D. Luffy.
• Boston Celtics: Roronoa Zoro.
• Denver Nuggets: Nami.
• Indiana Pacers: Sanji.
• Chicago Bulls: Shanks.
• New York Knicks: Portgas D. Ace.
• Oklahoma City Thunder: Enel.
• Golden State Warriors: Trafalgar Law.
• Memphis Grizzlies: Sabo.
• Milwaukee Bucks: Yamato.

Individual product ranges use different selections. A character’s inclusion in the artwork does not mean every figure, shirt or plush assortment contains that character.

BANDAI SPIRITS announced its wider merchandise program on November 21, 2025, with initial BASE SHOP sales beginning December 5, 2025.

S.H.Figuarts: six Luffy uniforms and a separate basketball goal

These are articulated Luffy action figures. They are a different series from the fixed-pose MASTER STARS PIECE figures below.

The October 24 release notice confirms the first Japan retail wave:

• Luffy, Los Angeles Lakers version: released October 24, 2026; ¥9,900.
• Luffy, New York Knicks version: released October 24, 2026; ¥9,900.
• Basketball Goal Set: released October 24, 2026; ¥7,700. The goal is sold separately.

The official six-team announcement lists the later Luffy versions at ¥9,900 each:

• Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls: December 2026.
• Oklahoma City Thunder and Boston Celtics: February 2027.

Those are announced release months. They do not establish an exact day or current preorder availability at an individual retailer.

LUFFY’s: ten blind-box uniforms and a larger all-teams design

Uniform Icon Edition

Uniform Icon Edition launched October 24, 2026. These stylized figures use Luffy’s silhouette, with NBA uniforms printed on the front and back. They stand approximately 8.6 cm tall.

Japan pricing is ¥1,980 per closed box, or ¥19,800 for a ten-box carton. The official notice says a factory-packed carton contains the complete ten-design assortment, including one designated secret; an opened or rearranged carton may differ.

The TAMASHII NATIONS product page lists the ten teams and buying details. A single closed box does not let you select a team.

LUFFY’s 1/8: ALL NBA TEAMS

Announced October 22, 2026, LUFFY’s ONE PIECE × NBA 1/8: ALL NBA TEAMS features logos from all 30 NBA teams on one larger figure.

Its announced Japan price is ¥13,200. The release date is still to be announced. This is separate from the ten-team Uniform Icon blind-box range.

MASTER STARS PIECE: original Luffy figures and the character lineup

The original six Luffy uniforms

The first fixed-pose Luffy dunking figures cover the Lakers, Bulls, Warriors, Celtics, Knicks and Grizzlies, at ¥9,900 each. BANDAI SPIRITS’ original program announcement placed BASE SHOP advance sales on December 5, 2025, followed by Premium Bandai sales on December 11.

A later Banpresto product listing shows an August 2026 shipment wave. That is a later order wave, not the collection’s first release.

Gear 5 Luffy and Enel

The May 21 announcement lists Gear 5 Luffy in Lakers colors and Enel in a Thunder uniform, each ¥16,500, for October 2026. The manufacturer’s listing describes October shipment.

The May announcement’s preorder window closed May 24 at 11 p.m. JST. An October shipment month does not mean those earlier reservations are still open.

November 2026–February 2027 shipments

The manufacturer lists the following character-specific figures:

• November 2026: Zoro, Boston Celtics, ¥12,100; Shanks, Chicago Bulls, ¥14,300.
• December 2026: Sanji, Indiana Pacers, and Nami, Denver Nuggets, ¥12,100 each, as detailed in the June 25 announcement.
• January 2027: Law, Golden State Warriors, ¥12,100; Yamato, Milwaukee Bucks, ¥16,500.
• February 2027: Ace, New York Knicks, and Sabo, Memphis Grizzlies, ¥12,100 each, listed in the official Premium Bandai collection.

These are planned shipment months. Follow the individual product page for the applicable reservation period and order wave. These paid collectibles should not be confused with arcade-prize distribution.

World Collectable Figures and capsule charms

The One Piece × NBA World Collectable Figure range includes the ten characters from the collaboration artwork. The official listing gives ¥2,200 each and December 2026 shipment. They are smaller display figures, sold separately from the MASTER STARS PIECE and S.H.Figuarts lines.

The Gashapon capsule acrylic charms cover ten characters and cost ¥300 per capsule in Japan. Their listed rollout began in the fourth week of May 2026. Machine stock and rollout timing vary by location.

Chopper plush, clothing and other merchandise

CHOPPER’s NBA plush

The official NBA HOUSE merchandise notice lists six CHOPPER’s PLUSH designs at ¥4,950 each. The original assortment uses Bulls, Celtics, Knicks, Lakers, Warriors and Grizzlies uniforms.

The licensed regional launch announcement listed the plush for March 2026 onward. Later order waves had their own shipment dates; the official collection page includes a June 2026 second wave. Check a current listing before assuming an order remains open.

BASE SHOP apparel, art and accessories

The official collection includes:

• T-shirts: ¥6,600 each, seven designs in black or white; BASE SHOP release April 27, 2026.
• Acrylic stands: ¥2,200 each, ten character designs; BASE SHOP release April 27, 2026.
• Tote bag: ¥3,850.
• B2 collaboration poster: ¥2,200; BASE SHOP release July 10, 2026.
• B4 mini-poster set: ¥4,950 for ten designs.
• Stickers: ¥660 each, eleven designs.
• Sports towels: ¥2,200 each, six designs.

Wilson basketball: December 25 release

The official BASE SHOP listing for the Wilson basketball gives a December 25, 2026 release and ¥12,100 price. It features the collaboration’s character artwork. Confirm the shop’s sales method and entry requirements before visiting for the release.

NBA events and activations: what happened

Lakers × One Piece game night: February 28, 2025

This past event took place during Lakers vs. Clippers at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The February 25 announcement from Bandai Namco described a special Luffy basketball animation, limited T-shirts and posters, a Bounty Rush photo booth and an on-court fan game.

The giveaway goods were offered while supplies lasted. They are historical event items, rather than a currently available ticket package. See our Lakers One Piece Night archive.

NBA HOUSE Japan: April 25–26, 2026

This past fan event took place at CITY CIRCUIT TOKYO BAY. The official NBA HOUSE page listed free admission with advance ticket application.

The April 10 One Piece announcement offered advance-lottery merchandise for venue pickup. Some items subsequently reached BASE SHOP or online channels; event pickup and later shipping were separate arrangements.

Two commemorative products were:

• MASTER STARS PIECE Luffy, NBA HOUSE version: ¥9,900, with a listed September 2026 shipment.
• LUFFY’s NBA HOUSE JAPAN: LOGOTYPE: ¥1,320. Its post-event online preorder notice ran April 24–May 31, with September shipment. That reservation window has ended.

The original regional announcement also named Premium Bandai Asia and participating physical NBA Official Stores in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. That does not establish identical stock or release dates in each territory.
